Blitzbokke Fail Against England

The Blitzbokke failed against England in their second game in Pool B with 19-21. With the loss, the Blitzbokke most probably ruined their chances to reach the play-offs as there is no quarter-finals top be played in the third leg of the HSBC 7s series being hosted at Hamilton, New Zealand.

at halftime.scored two early converted tries to lead 14-07 at the break. However, England scored two converted tries just after the break to take the lead with 21-14. A late try by Justin Geduld could not be converted, most probably ending the Blitzbokke hopes of reaching the semi-finals on Sunday.

The Blitzbokke will play Kenya tomorrow 01h13 South African time. England plays Japan in the match just before that and only a loss by England may give the Blitzbokke a chance to proceed to the semi-finals.
